CREATIVE COLLAGE MAKING WITH THE MOAT SCHOOL

GCSE students from the Moat school visited the gallery for a collage-making workshop run by artist Melissa Jordan. The workshop was designed to develop student’s final GCSE exam work, and collages were developed around the theme ‘Work, Rest and Play’. Students were introduced to a range of fabric and paper-based materials and techniques, presented within the context of the development of collage in the twentieth century.
